I wrote this small web page because I could not easily read the Bureau of Meteorology's web pages on my iPhone. I could have downloaded an app that places summary data on the screen, but I wanted to see, in particular the "notes" pages which explain succinctly what the current weather is doing. Also when the BOM changed its website couple of years ago, it was nearly impossible to find these "notes" pages - now called state forecasts. I also could not find the rain summaries for the past 24 hours or week - they are somewhat buried. So this site really contains links to information I use every day. It works, mainly by extracting the main information from the appropriate page of the Bureau of Meteorology website and displaying it in very simple text - no icons or pictures - on a screen, allowing the text to flow, allowing easy reading.
