God Created the Earth and all that is in it!

Genesis 1:1,2

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

Do you believe God created the earth, stars, animals and you? Do you believe that God created Adam? This is a time-old question, answered in the negative by unbelievers and unfaithful Christians.
In the case of the former, unbelievers have no ability to answer in any other manner. The Scriptures itself says that only by faith can one comprehend that God is the creator of all things (Hebrews 11:3).

You might argue that science says something else - in this you are correct that science says something else, but science lies when it says its knows how creation occurred; for science can only observe the consequence of creation - science was not present at the beginning nor at creation; indeed it has no means of determining God's hand in creation. Only God, who was present from the beginning (Psalm 90:2 etc.) is able to write what He observed, and in this He does in the first three chapters of Genesis. The failure of science to separate speculation from observation was brought into sharp focus when epidemiologists (who are experts in determining patterns of observations – but nothing else and thus have no understanding of origins) allowed SAR-CoV-2 infected individuals to disembark from the Ruby Princes in Sydney, on 19 March 2020, causing rapid and wide spread Covid-19 throughout the population of Australia. These scientists have no way of determining data between the origin and first observable point; and could not predict (even using so called sophisticated science) the future.

You might also argue, like many, that Genesis, especially the first three, or four, or five chapters – take you pick – is poetry and allegory. The problem with this theory is Hebrew poetry and allegory have very distinct attributes; the rules are known. So even using the most sophisticated artificial intelligence based computer analysis these chapters are found not to be remotely either poetry or allegory. Indeed these chapters have been studied for thousands of years – it’s the unbelieving Christian who seem to thumb their nose at God and who determines that God is not capable of creating the world. If God is not capable of creating the world, He is also not capable of saving you – therefore you are a person most miserable (pitiable) – without salvation your future is the most bleak one could imagine – the apostle Paul says your faith is empty (1 Corinthians 15:12-19).

You as a Christian might like to truncate the Bible and argue it does not matter whether your Bible starts at chapter 2 or 3 or 4 of Genesis. But which Bible verse tells you to start at chapter 4 of Genesis? There are none and you lie to yourself and others. Are there other chapters you remove; and on what basis? Do you also remove chapters 1 and 2 from Matthew? The logic surely would be equally valid! God forbid! No it would not be! Scripture is interpreted using Scripture – only Scripture can discount itself – but it never does!

Pastors – if you fail to teach the fundamental truth about Genesis (God created the world in six days, Adam sinned and thus contaminated all his descendants), you teach a lie when preaching the gospel. The gospel is the good news that the righteous God has provided redemption to unrighteous Adam and his descendants; through the death, burial and resurrection of Yeshua, the Messiah – the Lord Jesus Christ. If there is no Adam, there is no fall and thus sin did not enter the world by one man and it follows then that the work of one man, Christ, is in disrepute: in this you shout aloud; ‘the Bible lies’, contradicting, in particular the Apostal Paul (Romans 5:12-21; Corinthians 5:45) along with Jesus himself.
